The FASB has completed the complex changes that were associated with the convergence project. They are now reviewing existing GAAP standards to focus on how improvements can be made. As such, it is a good time to review common GAAP subjects, refresh our knowledge, and look at recent changes that may not have been noticed during the convergence project and standards that are being reviewed for future changes. Topics in this program include, the statement of cash flows, post implementation reviews of the revenue and leases standards, fair value accounting, impairment of fixed assets and goodwill, financial instruments, consolidations, and contingencies.
This course qualifies for up to 8 credits towards the 24/80 Yellow Book/GAGAS CPE!
REMINDER: You need to have 40 CPE credits in A&A every 3 years if you prepare financial statements. This seminar will help you meet your 40 CPE requirement.
